An honest politician and death panels

We have one honest politician in Texas and his name is Chet Edwards. I was so proud of him that he did not cater to the tea-party crowd when he spoke to us at the high school and took our questions. A young prosecutor from our county certainly showed his ignorance when he tried to convince those around him in the audience that the health bill contained 'death panels'.

Women Need Equal Rights

Why the outcry over the Islamic women who have no control over their own lives?  They cannot vote, are under subjection to their husbands as if they were slaves, go to jail if they deny their husbands sex.  Yet this is the rule of their country. We have no say there!

It is strange we live in the USA, where women you would think have equal rights such as we feel the Islamic/Arabic/Muslim communities should give their women.  Yet, women by law do not have equal rights in the USA. We do have the say in the USA!

I do believe we can depend on Chet Edwards to do the wrong thing!  Again!!   Have you ever looked at his voting record?  You would think he is paid by the illegal aliens, or someone who wants the illegal aliens in this country more than they want citizens.   It is surely an eyeopener!

Suicide

Obamacare as I understand it, will give 'end of life' pep talks to people trying to get them to commit suicide in order to eliminate people from using insurance.

What I have been wondering is what about the life insurance?  Most insurance companies do not pay if someone commits suicide.  Even if it is government mandated, I would presume.  So what happens is there will be no money to pay for funerals, bills, etc.  The families would then be required to pay for any last costs.  If property is involved, it would have to be sold to pay bills.

Once upon a time, many years ago, there came a man into the mystic land of the Near East.  The land's inhabitants were in desperate times.  It was filled with many tribes having intensely differing beliefs.  They often went to war with each other over whose belief constituted the absolute truth.  None of them was above fighting for control of the land, ownership of livestock, and control of their land's fair maidens.  At this particular time, all the land was under the rule of the great Roman Army.  It ruled the land with an iron hand.

Real time access to your checking, savings, investments?  Do we want to give the government this type of access?   Maybe you do, but not me!  I can see no reason for them to have access unless they are also going to be able to take what they want.   I guess that will be one way for Obama to pay for  taking his wife on a date!

Pg 22 of the HC Bill MANDATES the Govt will audit books of ALL EMPLOYERS THAT SELF-INSURE!!

Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill - THERE WILL BE A GOVT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benefits you get

Pg 354 Sec 1177 - Govt WILL RESTRICT ENROLLMENT of Special needs people

Pg 42 of HC Bill - The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC Benefits for you.

PG 50 Section 152 in HC bill - HC WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL NON-US CITIZENS, illegal or otherwise

I have a wonderful, useful, solid, big car.  It is a 1990 station wagon. It is so great for hauling things, including 4x8 sheets of plywood!  I can haul 6 people and I still get 16 mpg!  If anyone else has such an incredible vehicle, I'd love to hear about it!
